Great value in the Bund
Stayed five nights and were able to get to all of Shanghai's attractions easily from the hotel. Within walking distance of the pedestrian mall, Bund and subway. Hotel has a lot of old character even though it is a bit dated in some aspects. We loved the antique furniture in the hallways. English was limited at the front desk but we managed fine. We couldn't get the room to cool down enough. Not sure of the AC was on since it was cool outside.

Short walk from hotel
Take the ferry across the river to the new side. It seemed much more pedestrian friendly and there are lots of photo opportunities with all of the skyscrapers. The super brand mall has a lot of dining options.

Great Place for the Price
A wonderful and elegant hotel for the price. I had a queen/king room. It was quite small, but fine for one person or a couple for a short stay. A couple would want larger room for more than a day or so. The room had a wonderful design look and was very clean. Wood floors which are great. The location is on a side street just off the Bund. Quiet with easy access to the Bund and the Metro only a short walk away. I have considered staying here on several occassions when coming to Shanghai. I am sorry I took so long to try it.

The 2 stars are for the location
There is no reason to stay in this hotel with all the other 5 star hotels available. This was a last minute choice for me and luckily I was only in Shanghai for about 13 hours. The staff was very impatient and rude and I don't ask for much aside from my room key and directions. The room itself was very old. It felt sort of like a cage accompanied by a strange smell. Bottom line-I will never stay at this hotel again.

Review of Manahattan Business Hotel (Bun
The hotel presented nicely, but the room were aweful! I booked a king bed room and I recieved a full bed room! I paid extra for nothing! Front desk were not very helpful!
