North by northwest to this business hotel in Putuo District
The 301-room hotel on the northwest side of Shanghai serves business travelers who might want closer access to the Hongqiao business district and a shorter day trip to Suzhou. The hotel was nice and seemed fairly new. Very far from center of the city but just a few blocks from the subway. No where to eat around hotel except at the hotel which was a little on the expensive side. The "double bed" was more like a single bed and very uncomfortable for two people.

This Hotel is a little bit off
This Hotel is a little bit off center and you might have to do around 25 min taxi to get to the activities. However the money that you save on the hotel room compare to the other radisson in the city will more then cover your taxi fees. I was travelling to Shanghai every month and tried about every hotel possible and this is certainly one of my favourite and by far the best quality/price in Shanghai. The staff is great always at least a foreigner working at front desk to help you in English. Goof Breakfast, always smiling, good manager and I tell you it takes me a lot to be satisfied but this is a great Hotel.

Far away, but not too far?
Good quality, nice price (approx. USD 40 for a single room). Nice pool, with sauna and turkish bath, decent gym. It takes about 30 min. by taxi, to the Bund, costing 30-50 RMB, depending on traffic. All in all, a good deal!
