Shanghai Surprise
Globetrotter Nov 1, 2009
Hotel has nice restaurants. Check in staff was a little rude, or just not as service-oriented as one might expect. Parts of ... the hotel need revamping and renovating, and touches in the room need attention. I stayed in the old wing, so perhaps the newer wing is better. For the flagship of this chain, was a little disappointed.

Shangri-La Shanghai rocks
Cory Jun 9, 2008
The Shangri-La Shanghai is a pretty amazing hotel all the way around. The breakfast (1/2 price for guests) is probably the ... best I?ve had in Asia. The rooms aren?t cheap. I highly recommend this hotel.
