Great weekend getaway

Staying at the Le Royal Meridien for a long weekend, we upgraded our room to a suite which got us a room on a higher floor and free happy hours at the Club Lounge. It was great to sip champagne and enjoy the wonderful views of the Shanghai skyline. The suite was luxurious, although we found the furniture arrangement a little odd!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The French Concession is a short drive away, and the lovely neighbourhood is a great place for a long leisurely walk. Little alleys to get lost in!
