good for a budget hotel
i stayed here for 9 days while my apartment was being finished. the hotel was fine. be aware that the lowest price room has no windows. its great if you want to sleep in, otherwise you have no idea what time it is or what the weather is like. the room was clean, the beds are semi-hard. it is in a good location a 10 minute walk to jing'an temple. metro line 7 is also a 10 min walk there are a couple of restaurants nearby as well as fruit shops, family mart and a kfc and there is a restaurant in the lobby. there never seemed to be hot water on sunday??? the staff were nice and some spoke a little bit of english. oh yeah, the walls are paper thin. all in all it was not a bad experience. i have certainly been to worse hotels. so for the money its was a little better than i expected. the internet works, but is a little slow and the tv worked, but not any english channels.
