This 43-story hotel features great city views is a popular choice with tour groups visiting Shanghai. The hotel is surrounded by the picturesque tree-lined lanes of the French Concession and one block from the shops and restaurants of Huaihai Road. An extensive renovation in 2008 gave the 582 spacious guest rooms and suites a contemporary look and added executive city view rooms and suites on the 31st through 40th floors. Villar House executive lounge has a 360-degree sightseeing platform.
