Very nice hotel
The hotel was very nice overall. The room was quite spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly. The localization of the hotel was great, within walk distance to a number of restaurants, stores and subway stop.

Tremendous value at center of Shanghai
90% of the quality of Four Seasons across the street for 1/3 of the price. Not as refined as a true 5-star but a solid 4 across the board makes this a great value.

Short walk from hotel
Go south two blocks and be adventurous, and some fine international cuisines can be had sub-RMB100. Or across the street to Four Seasons for fine selections across the board. Hotel's own RMB158 buffets isn't bad either.
