Great hotel for the value
The design of the hotel rooms is very well thought out. The amenities at this hotel are excellent and better than other hotels I have stayed at in the area (gym, pool). Everything has been maintained well. Staff has limited English but they try to accomodate as much as they can.

Great western restaurants on Anfu Road. Also Da Marco's italian restaurant is considered one of the best italian restaurants in Shanghai is just 1 block away.

Great Hotel, Awkward Locatoin
I travel to Shanghai 3 to 4 times per year. This was my first time staying at this hotel. For the money, I'd rather stay at a different hotel. Nothing wrong in particular but certainly not worth the extras. I stayed during a time with almost 100% occupancy which made room arrangements interesting. Friendly-ish staff.

ehh..
ok nothing as i expected.. place was empty. did feel taken advantage of.. dont think they like americans there.. best part was the $30 breakfast.. 2 eggs and toast for 30 bucks should have been free.. i wont go there again
