very nice hotel

We paid extra to have access to the gym and pool but the elevator didn't even stop on that floor. When we asked about going to the gym and pool area, we were told that it was closed for repairs until May (three weeks after our stay). They also raised the price of the breakfast 60% during our stay. Only one breakfast per day was included with our room. (they did refund the difference at checkout when I asked).

Good location for the price

Overall staff was good, except checkout clerk, didn't seem to know what she was doing. Room was satisfactory but found long hair in bed and all over floor, I have crew cut. Don't think they vacuum the floor.

Hotel is situated between Wei Hai Rd and Nan Jing Rd. Two major shopping areas of Shanghai. Xin Tian Di is within walking distance or RMB12 (US$1.75) cab ride. With lots of restaurants of different cuisines, clubs, movie theatres and shops. Several Starbucks are also within walking distance.

The hotel is located at Shangxi

The hotel is located at Shangxi Nan Road, in the midway between Nanjing West Street and Huaihai Road, which will take you about 10 minutes walk. The hotel staff is friendly and willing to provide you with good information and services.

Excellent value

Very good value. The hotel was quite clean, and the staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. It was a bit distant from the nearest subway station, but still walkable.

Bien. Propre. Bon standing. Chambres spatieuses. Couloirs et restaurants un peu tristes. Préciser chambre non fumeur. Seule la restauration et le service à l'accueil n'est pas fabuleux mais c'est agréable d'aller dîner dehors. Je recommande cet hotel pour son rapport qualité prix.

リフォームされたホテルのようで（初めての使用）全体的に部屋の家具や設備は、新しい感じで良かったが、まずバスルームからの匂いが強かったのが、マイナスポイント。おそらくバスタブのカーテンからの匂いと思われるので、定期的に洗って匂わないようにすべき。朝食のレストランは、テーブルのクロスを常にきれいにし、汚れのないものを使うようにしてほしい。もう少しメニューを増やせば、良いと思う。
