Service with a smile at quiet budget boutique hotel in Xujiahui area
This budget boutique hotel tucked down a small lane in the Xujiahui area offers attentive service in 78 clean, comfortable rooms. The European-styled property encircles a quiet central courtyard. The location is off the tourist track in southwest Shanghai but only a five-minute walk to subway lines 4 and 7 for easy access to greater Shanghai. Amenities include free breakfast and free in-room high-speed Internet access.

Comfortable and Convenient
The Asset Hotel is a small and very clean hotel. It was a bit hard to find initially, since it is situated in the midst of the parking area of several high-rise apartments. The staff is very helpful. It is located between two metro stops--a leisurely 7-10 minute walk to either. The room was very comfortable for one person--it might be a bit tight for two. There are quite a few restaurant choices in the neighborhood I was disappointed that there was no wireless available, but there are two computers available in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and price.

Asset Hotel was fine for a short
Asset Hotel was fine for a short stay - I would want a little more room to relax in if staying for several days. The breakfast food options were a little limited, but not too bad. The room was tidy, though without alot of extra space. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest metro, but apart from that I have no complaints. It is within walking distance of central Shanghai (north along Wan Ping Nan Lu), if shopping is your thing.

The service is good and the rooms
The service is good and the rooms are clean. However, the location is not so convinient. The price is also a little expensive. All in all, it was an acceptable stay.
