IT was terrible .
they did have have the reservations i booked with you on file.I had to rebook a room and pay alot more.It was late and i was tired also .Thankgod they had a room

Chinese hotel at Terminal 1
The Argyle Hotel is at Terminal 1. I can only discourage you to stay there if you fly into or out of the new Terminal 2, which is almost all flights now. It took me one hour to get from the plane (no carry on) to the hotel, and I knew where to go. The shuttle bus only leaves every 15 - 30 mintues, depending on the time of the day, and it takes 15 minutes because the 2 terminals are on opposite sides of the airport. When you get to Terminal 1 you have to walk on the road to get to the hotel, I didn't find a walkway. It's faster to tale the subway into Puxi or Pudong and find a hotel there. The hotel has clean rooms, but isn't something to write home about. Front desk staff has extremely little English skills.

Great location for Airport, very
Great location for Airport, very nice hotel - but if you wanna explore downtown shanghai, not convenient for you

Schönes Hotel, wirklich 3 Gehminuten
Schönes Hotel, wirklich 3 Gehminuten vom Flughafen entfernt und praktisch nicht zu übersehen. Freundliches Personal und gute Zimmer. Einziges Manko: obwohl ich ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht habe, bekam ich ein Raucherzimmer. Nach sofortiger Reklamation wurde alles behoben. Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnng, hätte aber etwas üppiger sein können (es fehlte vor Allem Brot, Butter und Käse).
