Not bad.

The hotel was in the middle of building a restaurant during my stay so there was no place on-site to grab food. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They don't speak English, so make sure you can speak Chinese! The room was well-decorated, though it didn't look like it had been cleaned very thoroughly before I arrived.

Looked nice, but several problems

The hotel appears very nice with beautiful Chinese appointments, until you look closely. Furniture was broken in both of our rooms, the beds were the hardest ever (and we spent a month i China in alot of hotels), the hotel staff did not want to speak English (know they could, limited), the train noise was VERY loud, and the location was not good. The hotel was in an area of motorbike and basket vendors. The breakfast was horrid, so I often took to the streats to buy bao and bing (pancake/crepes). This could be a first rate hotel if better managed. It was however very cheap, so I would recommend it if you want cheap digs. I guess I would have preferred shelling out a bit more to get more.
