Travel alone in Guilin
Lots of smoking on the floor.
Hotel needs to improve staff service. There was very little toilet paper left in my room. I called them in the evening and they didn't deliver more. Then I called again and again. It never came. So, I was without toilet paper the first night. Worse yet, there was no kleenex box of tissue in the room. I had to use what was left in my purse. I saw the hotel maid the next morning in the hall and told her what i needed. That's when I finally got some toilet paper. By the way, it was lots of smoking on the floor even though I asked for a non-smoking room. I also had people knocking on my door at night. They sounded like they were drunk. It was scary. I didn't feel at home and felt scared the whole time I was there. The hotel was cheap so I really didn't expect too much. But the lack of service from the staff was unexcuseable.
