International style and elegance in Guangzhou
The Shangri-La Hotel Guangzhou has plenty to offer both for business travelers and for those on holiday in Guangzhou (formerly known as Canton). Travelers have a chance to sample a range of cuisines in the five restaurants on offer within the hotel, with traditional Cantonese cuisine, Thai, Italian and Japanese food all on the menu. The Shangri-la Hotel Guangzhou's spa has a fantastic range of fitness equipment, as well as eleven spa treatment rooms that allow guests the time and space to relax and rejuvenate them. The hotel offers guests excellent views of the Pearl River and nearby gardens. It is a mere 5 minutes walk from the International Convention Center.

I consider Shangri-la Hotel Guangzhou
I consider Shangri-la Hotel Guangzhou one of the best Shangri-la I have stayed in so far. The hotel is spectacular! The rooms are big, clean and comfy. The facilities like gym and pools are the best! The staff are upmost friendly and welcoming. Although it is far from the city center, I never felt far from the city. The hotel itself is big enough to keep me busy for the entire stay. Definitely would be coming back again!!

Not a 5 star hotel
Frendly staff, but the hotel is aging not a 5 star, maybe a 4 and a half. You beter stay at the Ritz Carlton
