Jun Shan Hotel

I chose this place because I thought it was near a friend's apartment underestimated the scale of the map when I was searching. When I got there, it was hard to find, because it was sort of hidden in a driveway/alley that slopped downwards. The quality of a hotel, itself, is what you'd expect from a cheap Chinese hotel, but I didn't mind that too much. You do get what you pay for. However, there are better PLACED hotels for the same price. The neighborhood seemed more of a trade center where there's a large mix of warehouses and trading stores. There's many people from Africa, Vietnam and other third world countries there to do business such as buy cheap clothes and plastic sandals in bulk. About 20 feet across the hotel, warehouse workers were loading up goods every morning. The neighborhood had your usual Chinese mom/pop stores and restaurants. There's a KFC and a McDonald's close, but the area didn't offer real shops or tourist sites. I would probably just shell out twice (which is still reasonable) as much and go for a better hotel in a better area, unless you have business there and on a very limited budget.
