Average hotel, well overpriced for what it offers
The hotel staff were superb, very friendly and very helpful. I had a small issue with the room service menu and they went out of their way to fullfill my requirements to the best of thir ability. However, I stayed in the Executive rooms and for the cost I did not think the rooms were up to standard. I spend about 8 months a year in different hotels for work and all of the other "5 star" hotels offer so much more. There is no WiFi in the room, only cabled internet which would be ok if I had a network port on my Ipad, but i dont... Also i turned the room climate control down to what i thought was a comfortable setting and ended up turning it all the way to 5 degrees, with maximum flow and had the windows open just to make the room a comfortable temperature. The food was average and expensive. The only redeming feature of the hotel was the staff, who were very good. The worst part of this trip was the average person, (not the hotel staff), the people in this city seemed very miserable and surley, no one was helpful nor were they interested in trying

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
There is little attractive about the city during the day, but at night they turn the city into a beautiful wonderland with amazing lights everywhere. Nanbing road at night looks amazing but make sure to book a table at a restraunt.

Good hotel but away from City Centre
First time at this hotel and had no complaints about the hotel. Room was clean and staff were friendly and obliging. Only downfall was that the hotel is away from the city centre so a taxi ride is necessary to get to the major shops and activities. For those of you who have been to Chongqing you will know that sometimes the traffic can be a problem. Hotel does not have a regular taxi agreement so depending on the time of day you might have to wait a little while before the bell boy is able to get a taxi for you. Apart from that I found the stay at the hotel quiet enjoyable.

Very Helpful
The Hotel staff was very Friendly, helpful and accomidating. If i was looking for anything in China they knew what or where i needed to go. The Air Conditioning didnt work as well as i hoped but that seemed to be common where ever i went in china.

Great experience
First of all I'm very surprised of the fitness equipment at the gym. They were more than enough! The pool is also another advantage to consider. Nice location indeed. You wouldn't have to pay much for the taxis. It's really cheap there in China. If you have plans in Chongqing Hilton is the hotel to stay at!

Great stay
I found the service at the Chongqing Hilton to be very good. I was surprised there were no top sheets on the bed, but I gather this is the custom in China. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I expect to stay at this same hotel on my next visit to Chongqing which will be in a couple of months. Professors from the university, actually came into my room to take photos of the room and expecially the bathroom. One actually took 36 pictures of the bathroom: a stack of three (low, middle, and high), then he moved 15 degrees and took another stack of three until he had a complete 360 degree panoramic view of the entire bathroom.
