- This 28 square meter room features a double and single bed, central air conditioning with individual controls, bedside lighting controls, satellite TV with multiple movie channels, broadband Internet access, dual ID telephone lines and voicemail capabilities. excellent service hotel
Hotel is quite good from inside. However my room was close to the elevator and some what noisy. Breakfast does not have a wide variety and dinner selection is relatively poor. However the service is excellent. The hotel has a very nice mall next to it with Starbucks cafe and many nice restaurants and shopping.

In Hotel
About 10 -15 min walk is the silk market, a real fun place for Non-Chinese to shop. All the workers speak english and great bargains to be had. Make sure you polish your bargaining techniques.

A beautiful, customer-service oriented hotel
The Trader Hotel is spacious, beautifully maintained and staffed, and has a warm, friendly customer-service orientation. There is a business center with helpful staff. There are small shops for buying mementos or gifts. There are restaurants within the hotel. Services were all great. It was Chistmas time and there were two beautiful Christmas trees in the lobby areas--Christmas has become a popular holiday in Beijing (without religious implications). You might even see people wearing Santa hats!

In Hotel
There is an underground connection to the China World Hotel next door to the Trader Hotel. It has many, many fabulous, high-end stores--Swarovski Christal, designer clothing, luggage, toys, etc. Also fancy candies, ice cream. Very elegant!
