The Perfect Inn is in an extremely strategic position: Right in the Gulou Dong Dajie, a couple of steps from the Bell Tower and 5 minutes on foot from At, Drum Tower, where you can admire the architectural masterpieces. It will take about 20 minutes to Tiananmen Square by subway, about 10 minutes to Bei Hai Park, Hou Hai Bar Street, the Palace Museum, JingShan Park and Yong He Lamasery by bicycle.

OK for a layover

We chose this hotel simply as a place to shower and put our bags while waiting for our flight to leave Beijing. The Good, the hotel is well located to a number of interesting shops and a nearby park. The Bad, the hotel is not the Ritz but neither does the price reflect that. It is OK for a place to lay down your head and to take a shower. About that shower though, bring your own soap and shampoo, none seems to be available.

We stayed 4 days, the room was

We stayed 4 days, the room was very cold without any heating,maybe becoz it was snowing the 2 previous days,but should have heater.room were smelly though,going 2 places were easy using public bus,u have 2 ask people.food around area plenty chineses rest.staff were friendly and speak good english.thanks 2 people like Kevin,Alice. breakfast not much choice ,only bread and cakes.wil stay there again.

We recently stayed in this hotel,

We recently stayed in this hotel, and found that the staff s very helpful - this could partly compensate for the fact that the hotel badly needs renovation and painting, new carpets (to mention a few). The location is very good, so if you are looking for a low-budget centrally located hotel and not keen on other things, this is a good choice for you.
