Nice Hotel, beds were hard

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and did everything they could to understand me and help me. The hotel is within a couple miles of the Forbidden City, Tian'anmen Square and just a couple blocks from the Lama Temple. I really wish the beds had been a little softer. It was like sleeping on hardwood at times. All in all, I definitely would stay at the hotel again.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

The Oriental Cafe in the hotel is actually reasonably priced. I ate a couple times in the hotel since a few places I walked to didn't have any English speakers or picture menus

COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE AT A VALUE

COMFORTABLE

THE HOTEL WAS IN THE DONGCHENG DISTRITCT ALSO KNOWN AS "GHOST" DISTRICT DUE TO THE ABUNDANCE OF RED LANTERNS HANGING FROM RESTAURANTS. THE HOTEL REAKED OF CIGARETTE SMOKE. BE SURE TO REQUEST A NON-SMOKING ROOM. SOME CONFUSION OVER WHETHER MY BREAKFAST WAS COMPLEMENTARY OR NOT; SOME MORNINGS RESTAURANT STAFF REQUESTED THAT I SIGN AS BREAKFAST WASN'T COMP. HOWEVER, OTHER DAYS I DIDN'T SIGN. AMENITIES GALORE AND CHOCOLATE AT NIGHT. HOTEL IS HUGE AND COMFORTABLE. NOT MUCH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
