Go fish at a basic budget hotel near Olympic Village

This 154-room, budget chain hotel opened near the Olympic Village in 2008 to handle the crush of crowds headed to the summer games. These days, however, this basic hotel appeals mostly to budget business travelers working at the nearby International Conference Center. Guests can reach most of Beijing's top attractions within a 30-minute ride on subway line 5. The hotel offers free bicycle rentals for two hours, enough time to explore the Olympic Village. Each room comes with a pet goldfish for company.

Great value for price. Wow.

Post midnight check-in very smooth. Courteous staff. Beautiful rooms. Should be paying at >$100, but much, much less. Only location was off here, but Orange has 5 or 6 location in Beijing. Free wi-fi and breakfast.
