Holiday Inn Express BEIJING MINZUYUAN

It started badly. The reception staff couldn't find a package that had been left for me and said there wasn't one, but it was under the counter and took ages to find. My room key card did not work and I had to go back downstairs to be given a change of room. The room was clean but small, dark and shabby, in desperate need of redecoration. The air conditioning was noisy and the rooms lacked sound proofing, so if the air conditioning didn't keep you awake the neighbors snoring did. The in-room wired internet connection was rarely available so I needed to go down to the foyer every day to use the wireless connection. The food was very average. However, the terrace was a lovely place to take meals and the hotel is situated close to the subway and the Olympic stadium. There's also a shopping mall just down the road and a couple of reasonable restaurants, which proved useful.

I think its a new hotel, rooms were clean but no fridge. Staff were helpful. Location is good, with the supermarket nearby and some outlet shops behind the hotel, near to olympic green, water cube , bird nest and subway. Most taxi drivers have a hard time finding the exact location of this hotel. Other than that, all is a-ok.

We had a nice time. The place was clean and pretty well kept, nice overall. There were some OK Chinese chain restaurants nearby. The Olympic park, including the Bird's Nest stadium can be seen from some of the deluxe outside facing rooms. Subway stop 10 minutes walk away. Not the greatest location, but not terrible either.

できて２年ほどということもあり、設備は新しく気持ちよく使えた。 ロケーションは市内中心部からは離れていたが、仕事には近く十分だった。 朝食は見た目は良さそうだったが、味がイマイチ。。。
