FX Hotel ZhongGuanCun, Beijing is located at Beijing's ZhongGuanCun - China's "Silicon Valley", beside the Haidian Bridge on the North 3rd Ring Road, near Beijing University, TsingHua University and Haidian library. The hotel is surrounded by Renmin University of China, Beijing Institute of technology, Dangdai shopping mall and Shuang'an shopping mall, 10 minutes driving from the hotel to scenic zone such as Summer Palace, Old Summer Palace and Fragrant Hill. The hotel also offers lobby and reception.

New, Ikea style hotel..located

New, Ikea style hotel..located about 50 mins from airport, not easy to find though near the highway...rooms are well designed with free internet and quite comfortable...However, hardly any english is understood/spoken...even all TV channels are in chinese only...Reception is not the friendliest but other staff is quite courteous...Seems quite popular hotel with domestic travellers..I was the only non-chinese person staying ! There are quite a few chinese and japanese restaurants around,some malls and Starbucks, ATMs too.. not much European food though. Very authentic and good Sichuan restaurant is around the corner, 10 mins walk. The hotel restaurant seems nice with Taiwanese food..decent breakfast for 25 yuan. The place is more suitable for adventure travellers and those people who do not expect everything to be nice and perfect...I reckon its good place for short stays or in transit stays. All CBD/Chaoyang district/ main bars, niteclubs are about 40 mins by taxi.
