Amistar Apartments

I had very nice one bedroom. The view was not the best (construction) but did not care much since they did not work on the construction during the holidays (New Year.) The wifi did not work but office had 3 computer stations. Overall, great location convenient to everything.

Definitely a good choice for 3-4 days. The cannon blow at noon gives a good shake and perfect wake up call after a long night partying. Wifi failed the last day and is very slow, still a good experience and very clean overall.

The apartment was clean and supplied with all the necessities. A good location, close to the center. Spoiled travelers may find, as is typical in all but very high end destinations, that winter heating is more limited than they are used to.

Even though this hotel has a great location in Santiago -- do yourself a favor and find another place to stay! If you think that you're going to get a 2-bedroom suite, you'll probably be disappointed. And, if so, it will be a huge hassle to get it straightened out. There are lots of hotels in this area of Santiago, just find another one! I booked (and paid for) a two-bedroom suite but was only given a one-bedroom suite. (We had three adults in our party.) When I called this mix-up to the attention of the hotel staff, they blamed the reservation information they received from the on-line reservation company and said that I would have to contact that company about the problem. When I returned to the States, I contacted the on-line company. They contacted the hotel and the hotel staff has been very uncooperative about a refund, even though the problem was clearly on their end. The issue is still pending. My advice to you is -- save yourself the trouble and don't bother making a reservation at this hotel. It's not worth the hassle. Please vote with your feet and go somewhere else.

We booked two rooms suite, but to me it was a redesigned one bedroom because second room was very small, but we did not mind. The apartment had modern furniture with full kitchen. We had daily maid service. Location was great for visiting places and for shopping. You can buy food at supermarket, on other side of the building.

Close to everywhere. Close to the subway. No breakfast.

Six nights of fantastic service. I used to live in Santiago, Chile, and this was my first visit in over 20 years. The Amistar Apart Hotel helped make this visit memorable. The office staff was friendly and available whenever I needed assistance. I was delightfully surprised to find they have laundry facilities there. The location was convenient. It was easy to get from the hotel to anywhere in Santiago I needed to go. If I ever visit Santiago again (and I plan to), I will be staying again at the Amistar.

We had a great stay at this Apt./hotel. The staff was wonderful: Carlos & Louis were especially great ! My partner fell ill and we were allowed to remain in the room after checkout which was a life saver. They recommended very good restaurants in some nice areas and really helped us with transfers to the airport. The location was within walking distance to everything and our mini apt. was very comfortable.
