The capital of Chile, Santiago, is the front gate for all the attractions that the country offers. If you come from abroad you must make a flight reservation from Santiago to El Loa airport in the city of Calama, Atacama Region. This trip takes 2 hours. Additional Charges: Non-Chilean residents are exempted from VAT (Value-Added Tax) payment on room prices upon check out, paying in US Dollars. Non residents will be asked for a photocopy of their valid passport and immigration card ("Tarjeta de Turismo") upon arrival. Chilean residents are subject to VAT; a 19% tax will be added to the room rate upon check out. - To reach the Kunza Hotel & Spa you will need to follow this instructions: From Calama to San Pedro de Atacama go by Route 23 When you arrive to San Pedro de Atacama, at the stop sign turn right, this is Domingo Atienza Street. Domingo Atienza ends at Caracoles, from there this street changes its name to Pasaje Las Chilcas, go straight by a 1 Kms, and by your right hand you will find the hotel. It is important to remember that is a rural site that does not have enough signposting or artificial light. In case of an emergency or doubts please call at the Hotel (56 - 55) - 85 2136.
