Not great!!
Arrived at 3:00 PM, when we got to our room it had not been cleaned from the previous tenents. When told it would take awhile we left and went to sight see and eat. When we got back we found left over food in the frig and the bedding smelled of smoke. We felt the bed was made with the dirty sheets. The only dishes we had were two bowls and two forks. The front desk told us we would have to talk to the manager. The manager appologised and did get the room cleaned. When leaving at 6:30 AM Saturday we found the office closed and had to leave our key with security. Would not recommend.

Dated run down hotel
The hotel was half filled with locals living multiple people to a room. The hallways haven't been updated or painted in over a decade.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY
MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE HERE WAS GREAT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THE CONDITION OF THE BED. IT WAS LIKE SLEEPING IN A SINKHOLE. OTHERWISE, THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, HOUSEKEEPING DID A GREAT JOB ON A DAILY BASIS. THE LOCATION IS GOOD, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING ON SMB. IT DOES NOT HAVE MUCH OF A BEACH EVEN AFTER WALKING THROUGH THE COURTYARD OF SOME CONDO'S TO GET THERE. NICE POOL, RESTAURANT AND BAR(S) ON PREMISES. OVERALL I THINK IT WAS A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY.

Really nice pool, grounds,beach access
TI is a residential hotel with 50 rooms for short stays. My daughter & I stayed at TI for 9 nights & were very comfortable. We chose a room with "island view."That means a view of a parking lot, but from our 5th-floor balcony we could also see a bit of the ocean & were able to watch the cruise ships come and go. The room was nicely decorated, no frills like pictures on the wall, but the table was full sized with 2 matching chairs. The daybed was odd, but useful for suitcases. Good armoire for clothes. The kitchenette had a sink, microwave, 2 stove-top burners & a little fridge with good cabinet & counter space. The dishes/pans/silverware were adequate.Plan to buy your own dishsoap, paper towels, coffee, condiments, etc. Had to ask for hangers, but got them. Maids were pleasant & did a good job. Room was clean, everything worked. I don't mind lukewarm water for the shower in a tropical climate. Internet access with data cord in room, but I had to sit on the edge of the bed to use my PC 'cause the cable was very short. Wi-Fi available in the lobby and at poolside. Don't expect concierge service at the desk, but the people were pleasant. .The pools, grounds layout, waterfalls, beach proximity were outstanding. Some delayed maintenance & you have to be a little self-sufficient to stay here, but we liked it & will stay here next trip. Yes, you can hear the roosters, but so what? We liked them just fine. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive or expect to be hungover a lot.

Know before you go!
This hotel is mostly a long-term stay Property for working expatriates in Grand Cayman. The place has its positives and negatives, but in my opinion, the negatives far outpace the positives and I would not recommend it for anyone other than backpackers. The staff is mostly friendly but the hotel's systems need a serious review.

Reasonable Hotel in a Tropical Setting
The staff was very helpful. The hotel is tropical with the lobby open to the outside as well as the hallways to the rooms. Their is a coffee shop in the hotel and a restaurant within walking distance that serves great breakfasts. Other restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel also. There is a sports bar located in the hotel. BJ's is located at the hotel and sells electronics where I bought a much needed cell phone charger. Verizon cell phones work on the island if you have international calling added to your cell phone before the trip. The hotel has U.S. type electricity in the rooms so that my hair dryer worked in the bathroom. The rooms are setup like a studio apartment so that you could cook in the room if you wanted to. I saw a scuba diving class conducted in the hotel pool.

The average 2-star hotel
The best thing about this hotel is the location (close to food and fun), and the staff (generally friendly). Unfortunately, the room was not clean, and the 'hot water' was hardly even warm by the time it got to the top floor. I would recommend using this hotel only if you get a very deal with the price ... and then, remember that you get what you pay for ...

The area is generally safe. Taxis can be expensive so use the stores close by, unless you rented a car. Prices won't differ that much.

old and unkept
This hotel was not nice. It did not have the amenities it listed such as a hair dryer, coffee, telephone that functioned etc. We will not be staying there again. It has several people living in the hotel rooms who are there because the men of the households are working construction, which created a very strange unwelcoming atmosphere.
