The 52-room property is the oldest Caymanian hotel and is still operated by the same family that built it 52 years ago. All rooms are air-conditioned, have cable television, phones with voice mail, clock radios, tile floors and free hi-speed wireless in public areas. The resort features a guest pool as well as a salt water sea pool with access to the ocean. There is easy access to the water for diving and snorkeling. The hotel provides amenities like Lobby, Reception, Guest Laundry and Smoke-free hotel.

- The Sea Harvest Restaurant is open from 7 AM to 10 PM daily and serves up some of the best local cuisine as well as awesome Indian curries. There is also casual seaside dining at My Bar where the restaurants full menu is available as well as more casual fare. All with a great view of the water under a thatch roof. This is where the locals come to watch the sun go down and enjoy the company of friends.

We would stay at Sunset House again!
Arriving a bit early and waiting a while for our room, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a double room with a sea view. This was great news to us and we used the sea view patio every morning where we ate our breakfast. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant fare nightly for dinners and we would recommend the Oceanic Seafood Pasta dish accented with mussels. We also liked the dolphin fish Caesar salad!All hotel staff members were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Miss [...], our housekeeper, was meticulous and thorough.

A rental car is really a must when visiting Grand Cayman. Next time, we would reserve a car with our vacation package which will save time and money!
