Great place to stay in Downtown
The location was great, the price was accomodating. Yet the staff were lacking as far as being friendly. The gentleman who was mopping the floors was rudely intent on not letting me use the elevator until his recent mop job was a little more dry because "[*] if I'm doing it again". So I had to wait while I have a cab with the meter running outside. I ended up taking the stairs.

Perfect location with nice room
Perfect location with nice room and all the perks. The only thing is that the "high speed internet" was a bit slow the day I was there.

Wonderful Wingate
Very clean and nice - the rooms are appointed like a 5-star hotel. Great location if you are going to the casino or the downtown mall. Otherwise, the area is a little dirty.

Need to work on the breakfast!
I've stayed at the Wingate twice while in Regina on business. Downtown location is convenient - about a 10-minute walk to Cornwall Centre, a downtown shopping mall with a good food court (although the mall closes at 6 pm on Mon and Tues). The breakfast at the Wingate needs improvement. I don't think I've ever stayed at any other hotel that offers breakfast that has only margarine, not butter. The breakfast room is occupied primarily by tables that seat four, all of which can be occupied even when the hotel is nowhere near full. The accesible rooms are to be avoided unless you need one. The bathrooms have no bathtubs, only showers with built in benches that can't be moved out of the way. In order to accommodate wheelchairs, the floor of the shower has no lip to contain water. Consequently, you cannot take a shower without leaving at least one large puddle on the floor to be sopped up with the bath mat. Otherwise, it's an adequate hotel.

CLose to the airport, that is about it!
The room was quiet and close to the airport but since we left early to catch a flight , we did not receive a newspaper or any sort of breakfast that was supposed to come free with the room. ALso, the website does not mention that you must pay to park. We had 4 people stay in the room ( 2 adults and 2 children) and only received 3 towels and 3 washclothes. So, overall , may not stay at this hotel again.

Very Friendly
The Staff was very helpful, I had some items to mail, I asked here the Post office was located, and the young girl there told me that she passed by it everyday on her way home and that she would mail it for me.
