Moose Jaw trip
Everything went smoothly, checkin was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Room was cleaned twice in one day which was odd. The hotel was located near many restraunts and was easily accessable when entering Moose Jaw. Hotel contained a few rooms for events.

When did Canada get that expensive?
Went for a conference last weekend held at the Heritage. Had been 14 years since the last time was in Saskatchewan. Food, especially, has gotten more expensive. Breakfast buffet at the hotel cost $20 CAN, and it wasn't even Denny's quality. Unfortunately, I didn't see many quality alternatives in town. The hotel bar was small but comfortable (easy to takeover with a good group of people). There are two other bars within walking distance: Silo, which was empty every time I passed by, and Boston Pizza, a bar masquerading as a pizza joint that brings in the 19-30 crowd. I really could have used a fitness center in my down time as there is not much to do in Moose Jaw. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'm not familiar with other hotels in Moose Jaw so I couldn't tell how it compares to other options in town but, I think, it could use a little updating, mostly the bathrooms.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go to Safeway and buy fresh fruit and sandwiches for meals; avoid the hotel restaurant. There is a refrigerator in the room to store food and you'll save money.
