Nice Hotel
This is a nice hotel. A little pricey compared to some others in the city, but it is in the heart of the old city and near everything. Nice continental breakfast basket hung on your door in the morning. And the hotel service was 5 stars.

Good location, nice staff
It was a great location, a couple blocks from the Frontenac. For the price, however, I would've expected better facilities and parking (there is no parking, had to pay an extra $50 for the weekend). The room was clean but average. There was no pool or hot tub or fitness room - just a 'lounge' area with chairs, books, and games. I would've stayed at the Frontenac for a little more had I known that. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay, the staff was very nice, and we enjoyed getting our picnic breakfast every morning!

Fabulous stay!
A first class experience. Great walking tour of the city included in the price. Lovely breakfast delivered in a picnic basket to your door. Perfect location. Wow! What a great stay!

Vineland Voyagers
What a Beautiful City
Quebec City is beautiful! The hotel is located in the middle of Old Quebec. We parked our car and walked to all of the attractions. We took the free tour on 8/6/09 and it was fantastic. The tour lasted 2 hours - and was not only informative about the history of Quebec City but useful in regard to restaurants and sites to see.

Traveling Friends
Perfect but Pricey
This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Quebec City. It is pricy but outstanding in every way. We especially loved the free city walking tour led by a very knowledgeable guide, the courteous and very helpful staff, and our breakfast baskets left on our door each morning.

Great location
L'Hotel du Vieux Quebec was a great experience for our family of four. We have two daughters, and they loved the morning breakfast baskets that were delivered to our room. It made for a great and easy start to our day. The location of the hotel can't be beat. Rue St. Jean has terrific shops and restaurants. Everything we wanted to do during our 3-day stay was within walking distance.

Paillard cafe had the VERY BEST chocolate croissants. It's about 1 block away. Dalibaba was a great store with lots of funky gifts and jewelry.

Great location
L'Hotel Vieux was in a great location for exploring Old Quebec. Everything was within walking distance. We had a very large room - big enough for four adults. There also was a large sitting area. A continental breakfast was delivered to the room every morning in a wicker picnic basket. The only complaints we had were the pillows are small and hard and the towels very rough.
