One Night Stand
Great for a HoJo
Incredibly friendly service. Clean rooms. Stayed here for one night before upgrading to Le Chateau Frontenac... obviously world's of class apart, but for the price this little HoJo held its own.

Good price benefit
The hotel is good, renewed and includes breakfast, the room doesn't have microwave, but is clean and comfortable. no nearest to the downtown and old quebec but easy to acces from higway.

Good price and good service
I liked the fact that there was free internet and the staff were very helpful and available throughout the night. The hotel also had vending machines, one for snacks, another machine for alcohol! The downside was that the rooms were a bit outdated, however they had everything that one would need. Overall a good experience.

Motel was fine. Much farther from the Old City than advertised. Staff not knowledgeable about dining facilities in area.

Don't stay here!!!
It was terrible!!!!! They said they didnt know we had pets and we were supposed to book directly thru them, but after i booked thru orbitz and called the hotel to say we had pets, they said they would leave a note and that it would be OK. We ended up getting a room but the manager was very rude and told us that we were lucky we could stay there because no other hotels allow dogs... which was not true at all and thats a true story! There was one staff there who was friendly with us however. The hallways felt like you were in a sauna. The AC in the room kept on freezing up and we had to wait an hour before turning it back on. The hotel staff blamed us for it freezing and that we must have had the window open... The room was TINY, the smallest I have ever seen, and the bathroom was so small that when your sitting on the toilet your butt touches the wall!!! Smallest toilet seat ever too, I didnt think I would fit! The walls were paper thin... you could hear people walking down the hallway (and having a dog makes that worse!). The location was ok but theyre were TONS of other hotels nearby that were so much better. In fact when we booked on orbitz we had to pre pay and so when we got there and didnt like it, we couldnt get a refund so we had to stay or lose $400! I highly recommend staying at another hotel because this was so bad. Howard Johnson has lost its edge and has become what it seems like a dump. Spend the little extra money, dont burden yourself here!!! A brand new Super 8 was next door and had a pool w/ slide!

Short drive from hotel
Old Quebec City is a 15 min drive away... awesome to see. Tons of shopping nearby. Restaurants are also close but also far away. I couldnt recommend any restaurants because we didnt like any!!!! Because we had dogs, we couldnt really dine in so we only did take out.
