Unexpected pleasure
Spending only one night before a cruise, I was looking only at price and location. To my delight, I discovered a spot that I look forward to returning for a much deeper exploration of the area.

From the moment we arrived at the Royal William we were treated with courtesy, respect, friendliness and genuine helpfulness. We were greeted by a young woman who immediately set to assure that our visit was comfortable and complete. She suggested a marvelous restaurant for us to try for dinner that evening. After that, everyone at the Royal William followed in that vein and made sure that any questions we had were answered and every small detail was to our liking. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

Excellent value for the money
My wife and I had a wonderful three night stay at the Royal William. While the location required a 15-20 minute uphill walk to the old city, there was little to fault. The room was large, tastefully furnished and very quiet, despite its busy setting. Service was excellent and the young staff were knowledgeable and always willing to respond to questions. A minor criticism was that the continental breakfast did not vary from day to day.

Nice Place
Good location... lots of restaurants in the area. Walked to and from The Wall concert on the Plains Of Abraham. I'd recommend it, but it seemed pretty expensive (however, it was comparable to other prices in the area). Unfortunately: No gym, other than a treadmill.

My Stay at Hotel Royal William
This was my first stay at this hotel in Quebec City, Quebec and travel companion and I were very impressed. The hotel has been completely renovated and the rooms are larger and very well appointed. It is very quiet and you can't even hear any road noise. The front desk staff are very welcoming and will do anything for you and always have a smile. I will most definitely stay again and recommend it highly to anyone visiting the area. A great value for the dollar as well as this hotels rooms are quite a bit cheaper than most hotels in the area, including the Best Western which is located close by.

Magnifique!
Friendly staff en anglais et en français! Very patient with my basic French skills. I liked the continental breakfast and additional breakfast options served in a real restaurant. Merçi beacoup.

The staff were super friendly
The staff were super friendly and helpful and our suite was fantastic. All in all it contributed to a wonderful stay in Quebec. We found it very handy and within walking distance to downtown - if we didnt feel like walking cabs weren't expensive. The breakfast downstairs in the restaurant which was included was beautiful, and service friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
