Hoosier Celebration
Went with our daughter and her family on her recommendation, and were joined by my sister and her four sons who were visiting from England. Had an absolutely wonderful visit, where we celebrated our Granddaughter's 10th birthday with the cordial help from a member of the staff. He brought us all the necessary plates, forks, and napkins to accommodate our lovely family party of 12. Very much look forward to returning with our son and his children next time.

Beautiful landmark hotel
Perfect location and beautiful building. The room was slightly smaller than I would have liked and the view I paid extra for was through two small windows. However, the staff was friendly and bilingual. The room was clean and well attended, the pool and sauna great (even if a few too many kids). Great value overall for a four star experience.

Great way to see the old city
The hotel is in the epicenter of the old city and a great way to see it. The hotel is beautiful and has nice amenities. The only drawback is that since it is the center, there is a lot of activity and it is busy.

Great stay at a Landmark
This was a great opportunity to stay at a Landmark hotel.. and we really enjoyed it. The staff is excellent, though the room could have been a bit better. There are some really good restaurants at the hotel, and also nearby in the town. Try the Thai restaruant named Apsara: they have been around for a long while and serve really good food, and at better prices. The only poblem is: stay away from the high priced food at these exclusive places in Canada... with the tax and tip added in, it definitely isn't good value. The breakfast bread basket at the Trerrace Restaurant for $19 CA (base price) is really over the top. The location is unbeatable: great views and central location in the historic town. Everything is beautiful and picture-perfect, but everything is also a tourist-trap!!

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
For a quick, inexpensive meal at breakfast or lunch, walk down into Rue du Petit-Champlain just below the hotel and look for the deli-style restaurant halfway down on your right..(don't remember the name,...sorry!)

wonderful weekend get-away!
My husband and I made the best decision to stay here for a relaxing, comfortable weekend get-away. The location is perfectly within walking distance of almost everything and has spectacular views. The "castle" is a fantasy run by a superb staff and provides a bit of magic to a vacation. Even the parking was convenient and reasonably priced, We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back again and again.

Don't be afraid to try some of the smaller resturants a little off the main streets and expand your palate with the area specialties. Don't order pizza in a french resturant-gastronomic suicide.
