Great, cold trip to Montreal

Stayed at the Westin downtown. I had a late check-in, which they accommodated with ease. Room service was fast and professional. The room itself was great and spacious, though I wouldn't leave the radio on when the guest first comes in.

Almost perfect!

We had a lovely stay at the Westin. The room was perfect and very comfortable. The location was very convenient to the old port area and just a few minutes from the metro stop. Where we were staying within the hotel was very quiet. Room service was adequate if not a bit over priced (but I feel like that's to be expected with room service, right?). My only minor complaint is with the pool. Yes the glass bottom is kinda cool, however it was super tiny, overly crowded, and closed early (9pm). The water was kind of murky too. It was nice that they had a hot and cold baths in addition to the normal pool.

Le Wonderful Westin

The staff is amazing and bends over backwards to make your stay a pleasure. The indoor pool and sauna is delightful (wish there was also outdoor space) Room service was delicious but took a little longer than ideal. The location cannot be beat totally central to everything worth going to. I would return in a heartbeat!

Quick weekend trip

The room was comfortable and clean. But the housekeeping was erratic, to say the least. Our bath mat was taken the first morning and not replaced for the rest of the stay. Plus, despite being 2 adults in a 2-Queen bed room, we were constantly shorted on towels. Very odd. But really, the only major complaint.

One Amazing Hotel!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Location was perfect! It was right in downtown Montreal. The staff was SUPER-friendly! Would definitely recommend Le Westin to anyone who travels to Montreal and looking for a good hotel in the downtown area. The only thing I wasn't too pleased with was room service. Food wasn't too great and it was a bit over priced. But there are plenty of small cafes and restaurants nearby that are worth trying.

Fantastic Stay

We were attending a conference and the conference center was right across the street. We couldn't have been any closer! The staff was friendly and courteous and the room was very pleasant with a view of the city from the 18th floor. On the weekend a refreshing beverage was set out for guests to enjoy after coming back from their time away from the hotel. One day it was lemonade and the next it was iced tea with lemon flavoring. We had comfortable beds and a very large glass enclosed shower in our room. The restaurant had the best food! I ate 2 breakfasts there and both I would recommend. I had an omellette one day and crepes with fruit another. Yum, yum! We ate lunch on the day we left and I had a nice Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. I guess I am not travel savey, so I will recommend that you realize you are supposed to tip the cab driver, the maid, and the doorman who gets the cab for you and carries your luggage to the cab. The hotel is close to the Notre Dame Cathedral, and Old Montreal (for shopping), and the river waterfront. We attended a free festival about 6 blocks away one night. I would recommend this hotel!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Chinatown is nearby and they have an array of interesting restaurants as well. I would say it was only 2-3 blocks away.
