Top City Centre Hotel
City centre hotel right on the main shopping street and within walking distance of the old French quarter. Hotel has a superb leisure complex including out door pool and sauna. Rooms were of a top quality and squeaky clean. Parking is beneath the hotel in a car park owned by the adjoining shopping centre. The fees are a factor but worth it for a city centre hotel

Visit the old French quarter and choose from one of the many French restaurants to eat. Make sure you choose one which has proper table cloth and a fixed price menu for best value.

Very Courteous
The Hyatt Regency Montreal was very accommodating, the room was very comfortable with a lounge chair for relaxation. The location was excellent! The location provided various choices for dining, shopping and entertainment. The most convenient was the underground for shopping, eating or just walking, especially if it rain. I truly enjoyed my stay.

fabulous hotel for a romantic weekend
My husband and I loved everything about the Hyatt. The downtown location was close to shopping, restaurants and points of interest. The rooms were clean, roomy and the beds were so comfortable. We both agreed that we would come back to the Hyatt again in a hearbeat!

Bachelor Party Success!
My friends and I went here for a bachelor party and it was a perfect location and is in the middle of all the action. This hotel is big and conveinent to everything and the staff was great. I did go to the breakfast buffet they had and it was ok, they had a good variety but I was there at 10 am and everything was picked through and not replenished. If you want an awesome breakfast go to a restaurant attached to the hotel called eggsations....

Great upscale facility
Great location close to all tourist attractions. We walked to most and the metro was the best for longer excursions. Metro was very clean and well organized.

great value for the money
Hyatt is Hyatt, and at $94/night presented an unbeatable value, along with 50% off their breakfast buffet (regularly priced at $22+tax and tip). We were surprised to discover that their Wi-Fi access was $12.95, whereas it is free in the most places. Bathroom floor didn't seem to be cleaned (nitpicking).

Hyatt Regency and the Place des Arts
The hotel was perfect for my needs. I went to the ballet, to the Contemporary Art museum, all accessible through the separate hotel elevators that take you down to the Complexe Desjardins which is a marvelous underground city with fabulous shops and places to eat. This section is newly renovated with access to the metro and each of the theaters. There are exciting video walls with changing actions well worth a longer stop than just passing by. For a cold weather city, access through the hotel is wonderful. You don't need your coat to go anywhere. But walking outside is also good to do...Loved it!

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
I need art so being at the Place des Arts was perfect for me. All (or most of) the walking in winter can be underground (see separate comment). Nice to know French but English is spoken by most people so it is easy to get around.
