♥ At First Sight!!!

First, I must say: MERCI BEACOUP to the Night Concierges, Joel & Fanny, for answering my nightly calls (just two, lol) As the cab drove up to HOTEL ZERO 1, I knew i had made the right choice.. The building's decor and structure... Eyecatching! Check-in was quick and easy. I walked into a room, to my liking! It was had a nice touch of Modern written all over it.. The color scheme was mysterious & initimate @ the same time.. The "closets" actually held the kitchen appliances... Everything was clean and immaculate, in sufficient space for 1-2 people!! As far as eating, the Hotel has an Italian restaurant on the first floor.. However, if you aren't able to dine inside, there are eateries in close vicinity... Chinatown is right across the street, and there are a variety of restaurants in the mall.. Overall, I Loved, Loved HOTEL ZERO 1!!! Plans to return during warmer weather ;)

Spacious room in a great location

We came during Thanksgiving to eat decadent French food and see the sights. No one was at the desk when we went to check in, but there were people hanging out in the lobby area, and we waited only a few minutes before a couple of friendly staff members came by. We used the valet service for our car and had no trouble with it (we arranged to have it dropped off for us when we returned from lunch on the day we checked out). The room was beautiful, very spacious, and had a gorgeous view of the city from our 11th floor window. It also had a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker (but no coffee!). I was looking forward to the free muffins, expecting them to be left in the room for us, but they're part of the free breakfast served in the lobby from 7-9am. The location of the hotel is great -- right next to Chinatown and less than 2 blocks from the nearest metro station (you must pass a strip club to get there, but there weren't any shady characters around -- could be because it was freeeezing). The bed and pillows were high quality, and we slept extremely well. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect location!

This is the second time that I have stayed at Hotel Zero 1. Both times have been wonderful. My favorite thing about the hotel is it is within walkin distance or a short cab ride from a lot of great places in Montreal. Chinatown is right across the street if you enjoy asian quizine, which I do! Old Port is a 10 minute walk and dowtown Montreal is only a $7 cab ride away. Also for places further away the metro is one block over from the hotel. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating and the hotel rooms have free wifi in each room which is essential to my travel being that I live in the United States and don't have any other means of communication while I'm there. I also love the modern decor. The only thing that wasn't to my liking was the gym room. The equipment was broken and only two machines worked which really limited my workout. Also only half the lighting in the room was working and they had not replaced any of the towels all day. Other than that the stay was wonderful and I will book my stay with them when I go back to Montreal in the spring!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Eggspectations is the best dining experience I've had in Montreal. It is only a 6 minute walk from the hotel and has a variety of delcious foods to choose from fod breakfast lunch or dinner. It also has great atmosphere. Definitely try!

Great for Business and Vacation

I've been there for 10 days. It's very close to Chinatown and City center. Also only 10 min walk to Jaque Cartier area. The room was always clean and the staff very helpfull.
