Well located, a little too austere room, but then again very good price for the room, recommended for single travelers, one perhaps two night's stay.

Would Definitely stay there again!!

I was in Montreal visiting Family, the Hotel staff were very Friendly.. I arrived hours before check in but they let us check in early. We had a problem with the first room we were in, they quickly rectified it and gave us a new room! The rooms have a refrigerator, which is always nice! The rooms were clean and comfortable! I would Definitely stay here again!

It's no Ritz, but it's comfortable!

We stayed here for three nights while visiting Montreal. There were 6 of us, so we had 3 rooms: 2 with one bed, one with 2 beds. The beds were all the same size and the room with 2 beds was twice as big. We got in very late (~2am) and were checked in without a long wait. We found some of the staff to be a little rough around the edges, but the service they provided was fine. Jumping ahead, checkout was also very easy. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. Cleanliness was not their strong suit, there were hairs in the tub (nothing gross... just a few strays that weren't ours). The bathmat is made of paper and the towels are TINY. And we didn't have a hand towel, though to be fair we also didn't ask for one so the problem may have easily been remedied, had we tried. The bed was comfortable, there was AC in the room so the temperature was comfortable, there was great water pressure... lots of positives. One of our rooms was on the street side and was apparently very noisy (wasn't my room, but they asked to be moved, and after a bit of insisting they indeed were moved). And last but not least, it's an easy walk to the Old Port and Old Montreal. The price was right, and there's a parking lot down the street for $15/day (or on-street parking, if you want to deal with moving the car etc). All in all, a low-key place to stay in a convenient location. It's no Ritz, but if you're not too picky, it's not half bad.

good for the price

This hotel was only a short couple of blocks away from the bars and night life so we could walk everywhere with ease. Check in was easy, the beds were big and comfortable. I was in a decent area so we did not feel unsafe at any point walking to or from the hotel. the counter help was happy to help with any needs and even checked in by phone when we were all settled in the room. the only dislike was the parking, the lot was about 2 blocks away in a location i did not care to leave my car in.
