Nice weekend getaway

We have stayed at the Gouverneur Montreal Hotel on five separate occasions. The hotel is centered right in the middle of Montreal with metro stops in close proximity. Hotel is clean and the staff is always pleasant. Will continue to stay there when visiting Montreal.

Perfect location for the Grand Prix

This hotel is just about adequate in terms of its condition but does have a coffee machine in the room and is perfectly located above the metro station

Late night stopover in Montreal

We arrived in the middle of the night with the intention of a quick rest before we continued my road trip the next morning. Staff were very helpful and check in was quick and efficient. Unfortunately the hotel is rather dated and in need of a remodel. Although I'm sure the room was cleaned prior to our arrival, it felt dingy and unwelcoming. The mattress was not very comfortable and even though I was very tired, I did not have a good night's sleep.

Awesome NYE Trip

Closest large hotel to Montreal's Gay Village, a godsend during winter or lively periods such as Pride. The rooms are fairly basic, but clean, and the location simply cannot be beat (all the major bars and nightclubs are walkable from the hotel).
