Comfortable getaway
The pool was better in the pictures than in reality, but it was average. Rooms were clean and spacious. Lots of restaurants and shopping mall were within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English and French.

Nice hotel but not children friendly
The hotel was nice and we had an overall good experience but the staff was not friendly with children.- The hotel was conveniently located on the high way and beside a couple of shopping plazas with restaurants and a movie theatre. 10-15 minutes away from old montreal (provided no busy traffic on the highway)- We could not get the requested extra bed because the room was too small, but the room was nice and tidy and had everything we needed.- [...] the hotel restaurant offered good cold and hot breakfasts.- My children used the pool but it was not heated, only the whirlpool was heated. It was overcrowded.- The receptionist helped us with good restaurant choices.- We had good family trips at montreal old port on one day and the biodome and the olympic tower on another day.

Nice location... Easy access to city.
The hotel room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to get to from airport (YUL) and easy access to the city. Located among many food joints and a movie theater. Nice area, somewhat in a business district. Felt very safe in the area.

Overnight stay
Very short overnight stay--in at 9:00 pm; out at 6:30 the next morning to catch a flight. Facilities were very clean & well maintained. Was the biggest Courtyard that I had ever stayed at--5 floors; big restaurant, bar, seating area, office center, etc. Very quiet, clean large rooms. Only complaint we had was in regards to the driving directions they provide guests for going to the airport. Directions have no overall time (no idea if you need 5 minutes or 30 minutes to get to the airport) or mileage reference from point to point. For a first time visitor, you have absolutely no idea if the next road direction that they are giving you is 2 blocks away or 2 kilometers away. Montreal street signage is marginal at best. If you are going to the airport when it is dark, be very alert for the street markings before you get on the 520 to the airport. Very easy to miss.

Over all the hotel was very good, however the location was not exactly what i has in mind, it was on the side of the free way and little far from town,though there was few good restaurants and bar
