Hotel is located near metro and has very helpful staff. The breakfast was great and the rooms are very comfortable. The turn down service with chocolate is a definite plus!

Comforting and Friendly

My stay here was mostly wonderful and as expected. It was so close to downtown which was really great. I was staying there with a friend of mine who we wanted a combination of going out and relaxing time. It was perfect for that. Also as a runner it was great proximity from mount royale to get my daily run in. If you are an active person looking for a gym, don't stay here as the "gym" has the world's first stationary bike and treadmill...and nothing else. Overall the staff was super friendly and helpful with great suggestions of where to go and accommodations. Loved this hotel and would definitely come back...it was definitely the right price for the right stay. Never had to get on public transrportation for where I wanted to go (and that included old Montreal!)

Chateau Versailles,Montreal's little gem

Delightful, small and friendly hotel on Sherbrooke Street West,a super part of Montreal.Lovely Edwardian building with comfortable furnishings. Only a few blocks from the Fine Arts Museum plus lots of art galleries and designer shops. There are also super bistros and cafes nearby. The staff are comfortably bilingual and helpful. The breakfast buffet sets you up for a day of sightseeing, culture vulturing or power shopping.

Great location for shopping

The staff was very attentive and the room was spotless. The room seemed a bit on the small side but this could be attributed to all the furniture in the room. However it did have a cozy feeling. If shopping is on your agenda, this is a great place to stay. There are art galleries and "high end" clothing stores such as Gucci and Hermes within blocks. A little further from the hotel you will come upon popular name brand clothing stores such as Zara, Simons and Banana Repbulic which are still within walking distance. Don't forget to leave the hotel without eating the complimentary breakfast. They provide you with several options.
