clean, budget option
Pros - The staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The location was great. Hotel is making great effort to be green, by using soap dispensers etc. Our room was clean. Cons - Our budget room was cramped. The mattress and pillows were rock hard. I could barely turn around in the shower. Not a great place to stay if you plan to spend much time in the room.

Nice hotel
This is a nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. We had to leave a day early due to sleet and freezing rain across northern New England. We would appreciate a refund of one night's lodging.

Small and friendly
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. For English only speakers the staff immediatley switch from French to English. There is no elevator, but the request for a room on the first floor was no problem. The room was small but quite adequate and comfortable. This was a good value.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are many restaurants on the same street, and we enjoyed several. Our favorite meal was in the old town area - a very elegant French restaurant. My husband and I lingered over a wonderful lunch with the best wine I've had in years.

Great hotel
It was a great location in the latin quarter - about 10 minutes walking to old Montreal and downtown and 5 minutes to some of the best restaurants. The subway is a block and a half away and it takes about 5 minutes to the Olympic park. The hotel is a great little place with nice rooms and a great breakfast. Very clean and ocmfortable.
