Went to Ottawa on business trip. It had everything required, but was a bit away from city/market and also had limited restaurant options close to it's location...but overall decent value for price

great family outting
We travelled to visit the Winter festival and stayed at the Hotel. The employees were extremely helpful, curteous and knowledgable. The only problem we had was when using the pullout sofa we discovered that there were no comforters to be used, We had to utilize the comforter from the King size bed. But it wasn't a problem. We would most likely be back again. We attended the bar area later in the day and the gentleman serving was very helpful, and we enjoyed our time there

Good price and facilities
When we were at the hotel we are attending Norcecas volleyball Tournament in Gatineau. Theres few places to eat near the hotel. You need a car to move to another places, but the attractions are near by car. I will enjoy better my stay if the hotel have facilities of refrigerators, microwaves in the room and a place to wash the clothes.

Near the hotel we found a great pizzeria Napoles that you can go walking.You can exercise in the surroundings.

good for the money
overall a good experience: close to downtown Ottawa/Gatineau cities and major attractions, but outside the really busy and noisy zone... missing: ventilation in bathroom. staff very helpful and friendly. would return... but not during a heat wave (it was 35 C with 44 C Humidex), as hotel's central air was stretched to limit (26 C in our room ...we survived by having a portable fan).

Just terrible experiance
Like I said, where do I start. Unfriendly staff to start with. Then there were no internet hook up at room. Front desk didn't pick up phone even after multiple try. TV remote didn't work. Dripping faucet.Their ad. sould say dumb people should stay here than smart people.

great all way round
one of the most attractive Holiday Inn lay outs I have seen with spectacular views and an exceptionally friedly and knowledgeable staff. It was a great value for the price.

Short walk from hotel
a number of good restraurants in area in easy waling distance and city was easy to get around in rented auto. Museums were east to get to in both Gatineau and Ottowa.
