family friendly, good location
Hotel was nice, had trouble with room service. No menu in room, and it took a while to get this. When food ordered we waited almost an hour for the food and when I called to check on the lady was slightly rude and asked Did they not tell you that there are other people in front of you? Other than that, the valet parking people were very nice and efficient. Got our car in good time with out much wait. First night in they don't hold the parking for hotel guests and we had to park on the street and worry about running to move our car in the AM. this was not a good experience.

Great Hotel with an Amazing View
The Westin Harbour Castle is a great hotel with amazing views. You are located in the heart of the waterfront and within walking distance to many attractions. We stayed in a room that overlooked the lake. We thought that the price was perfect for all of the amenities that the Westin offered. We will definately stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel
The Westin Harbour Castle was beautiful. It was within walking distance to area restaurants and tourist attractions including Rogers Centre. The rooms were quite comfortable and spacious. Well worth the money. Breakfast in the room was expensive but very delicious. The only downfall was that we had to park the car a few blocks away, as the parking at the hotel was full. All of the staff was very friendly and willing to help with all of our needs. I would definitely stay here again while visiting Toronto.

Weekend with a Plus
This hotel was located within walking distance of everything we did for the 3 days we were there. The view of the harbour was great. We walked two blocks and took the harbour tour which was very informative and very nice. We walked to the Rogers Centre for the baseball game and walked to sidewalk cafes for breakfast and lunch. We would go back there in a heartbeat.

Westin Harbour Castle Toronto
The Good: Very helpful and friendly check-in staff. Good location right on Lake Ontario. My room looked out to the lake, CN Tower, and SkyDome/Rogers Centre. Right down the street from Air Canada Centre. The Less than Good: One of the doormen told me the Airport Express came twice an hour, when it really came three times an hour-- almost caused me to be late to the airport. If you're walking around town, you're on the edge of the lake, so neighborhoods, bars, shopping take a bit to get to. But, if you have time to walk or want to take cabs, not that big a deal. Overall, a good place to stay for a weekend in Toronto.

Long walk from hotel
Kensington Market, Chinatown, Queen Street West, and West Queen Street West are a bit of a walk. But not too bad it you have some time. Also, walking is a good way to see more of the city, IMHO.

Extremely comfortable
The hotel was first-rate all around. Very clean, friendly staff and excellent location. I was particularly impressed with the bed, which was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at any hotel. Also the shower provided a great 2-headed shower head which was very invigorating. We ate at the Harbor Grille which was located across the street, although I am not sure it was affiliated with the hotel. The food was okay, but I expected more for the money. Overall, terrific hotel, I would definately stay again.

For a late night snack try the little Gyro restaurant right next to the hotel entrance. We stopped for some Gyro's after on our return from enjoying some of the Toronto nightlife and were pleasantly surprised. The Gyro's were outstanding!

Very nice, Great Views
Great Palce to stay in Toronto, it is comfortably stylish, and the Bed is as they call it Heavenly. Great over all. We were there just for a weekend and had food outside of Hotel so I can not say good or Bad on the food. Courteous staff and very enjoyable stay. I will definetly visit Toronto and I will be staying at the WESTIN.

Nice Rooms
While the The Westin Harbour Castle appears to be an older building, the lobby areas and rooms appear to have been recently updated, leaving a better impression than when we first arrived.
