The Strathcona Hotel

The Strathcona Hotel is perfectly located in Downtown Toronto. We were able to walk to several places and the room comfort and cleanliness are great. I will recommend it and will come back for sure!

The Strathcona Hotel is an excellent hotel located in downtown Toronto. The staff was extreamly helpful. The hotel was part of an agreement with the MTCC Convention Center, so we had an affordable rate along with free wi-fi for the weekend, and a extra cot for free.

Stayed The Strathcona Hotel past week, 4 nights . room was avg size one dresser two drawers for two double bed room. bathroom literly next to one bed .no drawrs for dsk or nightstand Wifi no matter how many times i asked never worked Cable reception poor , I complined . no help Close to all major areas ,but for the price not worth it all had one day breakfast buffet food buffet cold bad do

The Strathcona Hotel is conveniently located downtown Toronto near the Financial district and Union Station. Union Station on the Yonge subway line was a transfer point for other trains. It was within walking distance of the CN Tower, Harborfront, St. Lawrence Marketplace, Hockey Hall of Fame, Rodgers Stadium, and RBC Tower with a food court located on the lower level of Front Street. The room was a bit small, but just right for me. The staff was courteous and friendly. I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

The location was excellent!!! i have read the reviews prior booking the hotel, many of them said tiny rooms! And they were all right , the rooms are really really small! At lest the one we got! But if you go out there to explore Toronto and not spent lots of time in the hotel, i am totally recommending it ! the price was right too ! once again fantastic location!

I enjoyed my experience with this hotel. It completely met my expectations. Checking in and out was easy, the room was small but very nice, and the hotel was in a good location. I drove to Toronto from the US and the hotel was very close to the highway and easy to find. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, and they really made our stay a nice experience. The restaurant below the hotel did not have the best food, but the prices weren't too bad. I would recommend this hotel, but maybe not for a large family because the rooms are pretty small.

Great location only a short walk from Eaton center and CN Tower. This hotel didn't have a pool, but when you are shopping and sight seeing that doesn't matter, as long as the weather is good.

The hotel and [...] FALSELY ADVERTISED.This ruined my trip. And I only got $100 refund for2 on a 3 night stay. There was garbage everwhere. The rooms were SMALL ANDFREEZING. I immediately cancelled my room and wentsomewhere else.

Room was tiny. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. Great location, but would not recommend this hotel.

This Hotel was incredibly disappointing. I brought my 2 boys to Toronto for the "downtown" experience and going against my better judgement, opted to try something new. Bad choice. The staff initially didn't have my reservation from Orbitz, he answered 5 phone calls before finishing my check in a 1/2 hour later with my 2 kids present. The he put us in a "better" room and after finding out parking was >$40 for a 24 hour period, OR 2 blocks away, we hauled all of our luggage back to the hotel only 2 find that the "better" room was a queen bed in a matchbox room size that smelled so bad of smoke we were coughing!! When I hauled my kids and luggage back to front desk I was greeted by a new person that disbelived my findings and even my kids were trying to defend me! He then set us up in another room, about the same size.. with 2 twin beds. It was in view of a brick wall and incredibly small. Whenever we walked through the lobby we were greeted with stares at the kids. Someone in the elevator actually commented on them being there!!!!! Aside from the location, and there are many hotels in the same area.. I will NEVER stay at this place again!!!
