Nice for couple

The service was great. And also the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but overall we are satisfied.

motel surrounded by bums and beggars

Hotel is more like a motel. 3 star on a good day. Skip the food inside. Area not ideal since Jar vis seems to be a magnet for homeless people due to shelters on this street. Hotel itself not bad but for the price I would never stay again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Just around the corner was an all day breakfast place (down about 4 stairs) and for $11 we needed no lunch OR dinner! Cant remember the name though!

Bachelorette crash pad

Went and stayed here for my Bachelorette, and they had rooms that fit 6 of us in beds comfortablly which was key to spiltting costs! Bathrooms are GORGEOUS! Looks like they were newly renovated. Service was great, and efficient. we needed more towels and ice, and were brought it within 15 minutes. Only thing I wasnt't he happiest about was the parking fee. It was unmentioned and 25 dollars per car, but aside from that, great time!

Meh

First time staying in a Ramada, wasn't that impressed. Room was adequate and comfortable, however the decor was dated, a la 1990's, little bit worn around the edges. The room carpet was worn and stained, I was afraid to go barefoot. The hallways were dark and old-looking. But, for the price, it was within walking distance to where I needed to be.

Great stay at Ramada Plaza

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They ever called to see if the room was to my liking, which it was. The room itself was really nicely prepared and the bathroom appointments were clean and modern, very nice. I particularly like the location, because it's nearby to everything but away from the noise.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Getting to the Yonge Street entertainment district would be a pleasant walk in the nice weather, but in the winter, it's better to take a taxi.

Good for the necessities

My brother and I booked the Ramada Plaza for it's price and location. The hotel pretty much gives you what you pay for - the room and bathroom were small, and the hotel shares it's fitness center, sauna and pool area (which are also small but adequate) with condominiums. The hotel itself is simply adequate - a good place to sleep while you run around Toronto. It's a VERY short walk from the nearest subway - which is the easiest way to get around the city and get into the true "downtown" area. There is also an adorable park across the street and a Tim Horton's around the corner - which you may need to visit since the hotel offers no type of continental breakfast. The hotel restaurant was rarely busy, but the food was decent. Overall - I'd stay somewhere else next time, BUT if you are looking for a place to sleep while you traipse around Toronto - this is the place for you.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the subway at College Station to get everywhere in Toronto. It's clean and efficient, and for one fare you can ride the loop around. It's the College Station, but you get it by walking down Carlton Street, right around the corner from the hotel.

Good Location

It was an average hotel. Wireless wasn't free, parking wasn't free. The bathroom was very small. The bed, on the other hand, was enormous.
