Caribana 2010

I was there for Caribana 2010 and I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt regency hotel. The staff was very accommodating and made sure I was satisfied. The hotel was well secured and the noise level remained at a minimal throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, modern and the view was spectacular. This hotel comes highly recommended.

Great location!

The hotel was located in the Entertainment District which is across the street from many restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the subway. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and had a great view of the city. The one negative thing about the hotel was the doors were not insulated well and I heard neighbors in the hallways.

Great Stay!

We loved the clean and sleek look of the hotel and the rooftop pool was incredible! (although, we could have used some umbrella's up there for shade). Location was wonderful and I look forward to our next visit!

Great Hotel!

It was a short trip but it was an overall great experience. Excellent location (very close to CN Tower and Roger Centre) and very clean/modern rooms. The room was kind of on the small size but perfect for a couple like us. We didn't spend too much time in the room since there was so much to do in the city. The bed was super comfortable too!

Toronto Hyatt Regency

Hotel is located in the theater district which is also the club district. Many young people use the Hotel as a base, one in which to have large party groups in the rooms and a place to be drunk and loud at 3:00 am. This happened to us Good Friday night (3:00 am) and again Easter Sunday eve (up to 11:45). On the second night they were partying in the rooms on either side of us. Hotel staff was sympathetic, offered us a free breakfast so quickly that we suspect that this is a chronic problem. Other negative: they have internet but there was a CAD$14.93 per day connection fee (on a $150/ night room).

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

If you like to sleep, don't stay in a Hotel that has a prominent sign to the effect that only guests are allowed in the rooms after 9:30 pm and that they have a strict no-noise policy.

Well worth it.

I've been to three hotels in the downtown Toronto area and this was the best all around for quality, location, and price. The view from my window was amazing. I will definitely be staying there again.
