Fun, comfort and plenty of amenities at family-friendly downtown hotel

Excellent location.
Comfortable, good value. Food quite expensive, but many restaurants nearby at variety of prices. Early morning construction noise on north side of hotel from VERY large condo project. Easy subway and street-car connections. Surprised to find no in-room refrigerator.

Toronto Jazz Festival
The room was spacious, clean, and in a great location. The Airport Express Shuttle loads and unloads in front of the hotel making it convenient for tourists who arrive via air. I was in town for the Jazz Festival and the hotel is located near the subway, tram, and bus stops.

The hotel is a few short blocks from the north end of Eaton Centre which is located at the intersection of Yonge and Dundas Street; across the street is an open area which hosts lots of interesting activities.

Good Location, needs renovation
The Hotel was in a great location, but is in desperate need of renovation. Our TV was from the 1980's, as was the decor and the room was a bit musty. Fortunately the bed and bathroom were clean. Signature Club floors were renovated and seemed much nicer.

Best downtown location
Came to Toronto for pridefest. Hotel was very convenient to gay village. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

Heart of Toronto
Delta Chelsea Hotel is located at the center of downtown Toronto. Friendly customer service with a humble staff. The single bedroom may be a bit small but was very comfortable. All that I would suggest for them is to give free wifi to all the customer.

Delta Chelsea
We visited the University of Toronto and explored the city. The hotel was centrally located and very close to the school. We could have walked there if we knew we were so close. The room was ordinary. The shower head was pulled out from the wall exposing the plaster. The hotel seems to be very popular and busy. The chef at the grill in the Market Place was rude and very angry with the customers. His assistant kept apologizing for him. He may have just had a bad day. The Concierge was very polite and helpful to us and everyone he spoke with. The doormen who got us a taxi to go out then assisted us on our return where polite and cordial. The hotel as a whole and the room in particular were not equal to similar types of hotels we have stayed at but it wasn't terrible either.

Good experience overall. The hotel is older and it shows in certain areas. The staff was friendly and it is in a great location. I would recommend to others.

Great Location.
The trip was hastily planned. I didn"t have time to shop around, but I am satisfied with my choice. I would return for a stay in the future. My wife and I had a nice experience with staff. Except for the bathroom fan which needs fixing and a noisy guest one night,it was a positive stay. Some things on the deli menu were a bit pricey.

Unbeatable service
Had the chance to go to the gym and pool area, I was surprised with the service and facilities. The jacuzzi pool was a little colder than the usual, stil fine enough. Probably the tv was too small, unlike most hotels nowadays, a lot to improve there. Overall: very satisfied

Good Location
The location was great. However, the Delta Chelsea has seen its best days from a visual perspective. It should be due for a renovation soon. The hotel staff was superb. All treated you very well and catered to your needs. The hotel was part of a package deal and it was excellent for the value.
