Fun, comfort and plenty of amenities at family-friendly downtown hotel

very walkable location, great pool
the hotel is vary convenient to a walking tour of Toronto. the adult pool has a lovely vantage overlooking the city and the hours were convenient. I was disappointed that the roof top bar was not available the nights I was there.

Great location
I stayed here because of the location, and the reasonable price. The hotel was clean. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I am extremely pleased.

Toronto's Delta Chelsea
Our stay at The Delta Chelsea was excellent...The room was very pleasant , clean, and there were bright lights! The staff was most helpful, and the location was excellent---many restaurants very close by--as was a large indoor mall and it was a realistic walk to the lake front and the Rogers Center. A most enjoyable respite.

A large, beautiful mall with more than 300 stores was only a couple of blocks away.

almost all-inclusive
reputedly the largest hotel in Toronto, the Delta Chelsea only lacks it's own shopping mall to be an all-inclusive resort. Actually, there is major shopping within a few steps of the hotel. There are multiple dinning facilities in the hotel, and many more just steps outside the doors. Only problem was remembering which bak of elevators to use..

great staff but overworked
Checked in on a regular saturday afternoon. First impression was that the hotel only had a staff of three to check in people that looked like a wedding congo line. Took me 1/2 an hour to get to the front of the line. While the staff was very helpful, I could not understand why a 4 star hotel would allow such a long check in time rather then calling for help. Room was very clean but tiny. reminded me of those Boston Hotel rooms in downtown. Staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel can't be beaten for nearness to shopping and food. just don't go out alone at night since the area around the hotel turns into times square in the early 80's (not a good thing).

top notch location - no complaints
location is tops - room nicely furnished - staff friendly and customer oriented - i do not have one single complaint - close to subway and restaurants - my room had a radio and tv and was quiet - hotel is walking distance to cn tower , financial district , restaurants .

family friendly & great location
Our stay was short and sweet. Check-in was prompt, our room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty to keep us busy without having to leave the hotel. Check-out was fast and convenient. My only complaint was the cost of parking which I understand can be expected in any large city centre.

Family Friendly
The room smelled of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. I like the location as it was close to the subway. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good with a variety of food. I thought the room could have been cleaned a bit better than it was. All in all I would stay here again when I visit Toronto again.

Great Location
minutes from the subway station and walking distance to all major locations, this hotel is great to stay. however, the only negative side was that the rooms were very small, and the parking doubly expensive!!
