Fun, comfort and plenty of amenities at family-friendly downtown hotel

Heart of Toronto
Delta Chelsea Hotel is located at the center of downtown Toronto. Friendly customer service with a humble staff. The single bedroom may be a bit small but was very comfortable. All that I would suggest for them is to give free wifi to all the customer.

Go eat the sausage from the many stands outside on the sidewalk... it's simple amazing.

Delta Chelsea
We visited the University of Toronto and explored the city. The hotel was centrally located and very close to the school. We could have walked there if we knew we were so close. The room was ordinary. The shower head was pulled out from the wall exposing the plaster. The hotel seems to be very popular and busy. The chef at the grill in the Market Place was rude and very angry with the customers. His assistant kept apologizing for him. He may have just had a bad day. The Concierge was very polite and helpful to us and everyone he spoke with. The doormen who got us a taxi to go out then assisted us on our return where polite and cordial. The hotel as a whole and the room in particular were not equal to similar types of hotels we have stayed at but it wasn't terrible either.

Good experience overall. The hotel is older and it shows in certain areas. The staff was friendly and it is in a great location. I would recommend to others.

Great Location.
The trip was hastily planned. I didn"t have time to shop around, but I am satisfied with my choice. I would return for a stay in the future. My wife and I had a nice experience with staff. Except for the bathroom fan which needs fixing and a noisy guest one night,it was a positive stay. Some things on the deli menu were a bit pricey.

Unbeatable service
Had the chance to go to the gym and pool area, I was surprised with the service and facilities. The jacuzzi pool was a little colder than the usual, stil fine enough. Probably the tv was too small, unlike most hotels nowadays, a lot to improve there. Overall: very satisfied

Good Location
The location was great. However, the Delta Chelsea has seen its best days from a visual perspective. It should be due for a renovation soon. The hotel staff was superb. All treated you very well and catered to your needs. The hotel was part of a package deal and it was excellent for the value.

Excellent choice
If you wnat to go to the Niagara Falls, the bus station is a two short bloecks away. JUst three blocks from the Eaton Centre. If you are talking a dog, there are a couple of parks in a three block radiuos. My only complaint was that the image of the flatcreen TV was set and there was a distortion not to be able to change. There is NO frigobar. The rest was excellent. The restaurants are about $20 Canadian dollars for brunck buffet with not an extensive selection.

Convenient Location and Pro Service
I stay there for one night. The overall quality of the service is very good and all staff members look professional. The only disadvantage is the hotel is crowded, which, on the other hand, means it is very welcomed by tourists.

Good service in an older hotel
I was there for two days of business meetings. Everything I needed was provided in a friendly and competent manner. The hotel caters to groups and as such has attractive rates. The downside is that the hotel is not filled with business dressed people and is quite boisterous at times.
