Great hotel stay
I have a wonderful experience, and I will name some of my good and not so good experience. Every single hotel staffs (6-7) I encountered were friendly, polite and attentive. The hotel room was clean and large, and the bed was comfortable. The room curtain shade was also thick and tight enough to block out all sunlight. I got free internet as well which is great. There was no refrigerator if that is important to you. The hotel restaurant was ok too (only eat there once). I paid a bit less than $100 per night, so it is cheap for a high quality hotel in downtown where many things are very close by. The bathroom was clean and offered most of the necessary items, soap, shampoo, lotion, towels...etc. What I do not like (and many others have mentioned) is the expensive parking fee in this area. The hotel offers valet and self parking. Self-parking is $29 not including tax. The local parking lots which are not associated with the hotel were also expensive and the parking staffs (again not associated with this hotel) were just mean-spirted. Had it not been the expensive parking, I would have given a 5-star rating. Maybe I expected too much.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Two tiny but good Japanese kitchen knife stores if you are interested. They are: "Knife" on 658 Queen St. W. and "Tosho" on 602 Markham St. For Chinese style knives, Chan Chi Kee store in the Pacific Mall (4300 Steeles Ave. E, Markham) offers the highest quality.

Christmas in Toronto
Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. Friendly and informative. Quick to bring up fresh towels, extra coffee filters. Always refer to me with my last name when answering phone. Beautifully decorated for Christams~even had a Santa Claus! Valet quick when leaving. Nice restaurants and pub and very centrally located to walking everywhere. My jeep wouldn't fit in their underground parking lot ($29 per day)so Valet parking($39) for 3 days plus tax cost me $132.21...way too much, especially because we walked everywhere!

25th Birthday Celebration!
Had a great time at the Delta Chelsea, it was for my 25th birthday, staff was very friendly, location was great, cabs were readily available when we needed to go out, they were very busy and I had to call the front desk a few times before they answered, but despite that a great experience!

Fast and economical
Just like any large hotel, where you expect fast service, such as key drop off for checkout, this hotel also has all processes set up for promptness. One interesting thing i found was that in the room a Card mentioned that they are so sure about their quality control of housekeeping (and room makeup) that if their staff has missed out anything, then you get one nite stay free. Location is excellent, right next to Dundas Square and Eaton Center.

This hotel is nice and clean, lobby looks nice, great views from most of the rooms of the city. Rooms are not wifi enabled, something that could be beneficial for international travelers. The check-in and check-out experience is slow, so expect to make extra time for those processes.
