Great Hotel to Be in the Center of Toronto
The hotel is near museums and attractions and most of the tourist things you would want to do. The room was clean and well maintained as were the common areas. The restaurant food was just okay--not really that great. I ate for dinner the first night and it was overpriced and not really that good. But the service at the front desk of the hotel was great--very helpful on what to do and how to get there. The only drawback is that the parking is expensive--$25 or $30 for valet. Otherwise, wonderful stay and I will stay there again!

Good Value for Downtown Toronto Area
Good value and amenities for the business traveller wanting to stay downtown. The rooms, and the free gym, are clean, modern, and well equipped. It's my understanding from speaking with a fellow traveller that they have recently undergone a major rennovation. Wifi is free and fast. The cafe/bar area serves up Starbucks by morning to get you going and adult beverages by evening to help you wind down. There is also plenty of room and tables in the cafe/bar or lobby areas to meet with clients. A short walk down Yonge St. will allow you to take in the city and get you to many local attractions.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
"Hoops" sports bar right across the street has a good atmosphere, good bar food, and tons of TVs tuned to sports (mostly hockey of course...it is Canada, eh!?)...but beware (or enjoy I suppose) Wednesday night karaoke starting around 10pm!

Best Hotel
The customer service and staff was absolutely fabulous. They were polite and courteous. Even the restaurant staff was amazing. The check in-out was painless and the room was beyond what I had expected. The room was very neat and clean. The view from the room was amazing. Transport via bus or cab was right outside the door.

fantastic for any traveller
This is the second time that i stayed in one of the hotel of Marriot. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were so friendly. Location wise is perfect as near the major shopping malls & stores. Food selection wise is great too as many are scattered near the hotel. Great convenience too if you forgot your toiletries as the hotel is next to a 24 hours grocery +pharmacy. There is also a nice cinema house which is cheaper price than other cinema. My favorite one its walking distance to Church & Wellesley St. The pride area of Toronto. I will definitely go back here to stay. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to downtown toronto.

It's all good! (mostly)
Great location, friendly staff, large room, my only complaint was that the bed was not very comfy. It seemed like it was time to replace the mattress.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
The Keg Mansion served me the absolute perfect filet mignon! The atmosphere is that of a late 19th century mansion and could appear a bit stuffy, but I felt comfortable in my jeans and polo shirt.

Perfect Location
A short walk to downtown, the mall, numerous shops and various restaurants makes the Courtyard Marriott an ideal pick for any life-style. My only complaint was the moody television remote that required a special touch to turn it on and off.

So, so place to go.
Stayed 3 nights at the hotel; room was cleaned once. The furniture in the room looked like it had been wet because most of the furniture was warped. No easy access to the pool from the North Tower which turned out okay since the water in the pool was green. The best part of the hotel was the Fireside Grill. Excellent spot for food and drink.
